Brick 1-24 is the result of years of research into this marketplace and its needs.

To be successful it needs to be figure and construction brick based. Realism, detail, scale and articulation are also critical design elements.

Current construction brick and figure toy lines have design flaws that we have studied and improved upon considerably. At the same time, our product has been designed around existing construction brick systems so that it can grow within a customer’s existing brick collection.

This website highlights the improvements in the figure design and shows it working perfectly with traditional construction bricks.

A New Brick Design

Our brick design truly moves the toy industry for teenagers and adults, forward.

The levels of detail available from using our bricks are more than 4 times that of current construction bricks.

The brick design makes it as easy to build in the vertical direction as in the horizontal direction. This makes it far simpler to build complex models. Buildings and their interiors can now look very realistic.

Realistic Models

Traditional construction bricks are unable to build realistic vehicles.

Vehicles are the second most important toy line after figures. Brick 1-24’s solution is to create bricks specific to a particular vehicle. Our vehicles are buildable and customizable but within the realm of reality.

To give you an idea of what we mean, we have a product comparison of a traditional construction brick 4x4 and a Brick 1-24 4x4.

The traditional construction brick 4x4 is compromised by trying to look realistic using figures that don’t conform to a real-world scale. It is also hampered by the limitations of the brick design.

The Brick 1-24 model is made up of multiple bricks that join together and come apart in the same way traditional construction bricks do.

The difference is that the final models scale and accuracy is now on a par with that normally associated with plastic model kits.

The design also recognises the importance of play and includes high levels of real-world articulation while fitting our figure range naturally.

The model is customizable but within the realms of reality. It contains 90 pieces. There is a roofed version, an ambulance version and various armament options.

Branded Bricks

By pursuing reality and scale we have also produced a recognisable branded 4x4 product.

The concept of introducing real world branded products that are scale replicas has not been attempted before due to traditional construction bricks not having a real-world scale.

Yet branded products are highly desirable items for model builders as they offer a degree of realism that is impossible to achieve without them. Brick 1-24 has put considerable effort into exploring the addition of branded miniatures into a construction brick universe.

As a result, we have developed a marketing platform that offers outstanding possibilities for brands. Brands get to enter an environment where they are most welcome. The purchasing process is similar to buying branded items in the real world. The pro and cons of items are considered in the same way before purchasing. This allows brands to educate customers about their products and build brand loyalty in advance of them becoming real world customers. Once purchased builders continue to interact with these branded miniatures over extended periods of time. This process offers brands unrivalled levels of exposure to potential customers enjoying their hobby in a very positive state of mind.

Furniture & Accessories

When you pursue realism and scale you can manufacturing items that traditional construction brick manufacturers would not consider.

Furniture is a noticeable range of items that is missing from the traditional construction brick universe. Ironically construction bricks encourage the building of buildings more than anything else. Yet there is an almost complete lack of furniture to fill them with.

Brick 1-24 plans to include a wide range of furnishing to fill this gap. This would include hardware for kitchens and bathrooms. One can build furniture with traditional construction bricks but the end results are far from realistic. Below is a range of realistic furniture we see that our target audience world prefer to fill their buildings with.

No need to Pander to Children

Brick 1-24 recommends sales to customers 13 years and older. We will manufacture figures and accessories that will allow customers to re-enact scenes from adult orientated movies, tv series and video games.

On the whole this is an untapped, yet extensive portfolio of construction brick themes that no one is manufacturing for. The buildability of our figure range allows individual customers to create figures that closely resemble actors from these shows at a moment’s notice.

Market Size

If we consider that 10 to 20% of Lego sales are coming from adults. These adults are purchasing a product designed for children. It would be only natural to consider that a figure and construction brick toy range specifically designed for adults would generate far more sales than a product designed for children.

Adults also have far more disposable income and can purchase far more often than children do. If the window to sell to children is on average 6 years, then the window to sell to adults can be 60 years. The spending power of an older audience far exceeds that of children.

Branded bricks and our unique way of selling them opens a revenue stream that can be potentially as large as brick sales themselves.

When children become adults and still have a love of construction brick toys, they tend to move to plastic model kit, model railroads and dolls house hobbies. Brick 1-24 by design is perfectly placed to draw these customers back to our construction brick hobby.

For Brick 1-24s growth path we have developed a step-by-step approach that begins with the introduction of the figure and hand-held accessories. This would include the addition of branded bricks.

Thereafter we would introduce larger accessories such as furniture, appliances and vehicles.

Lastly, we would introduce our new brick system.

Each stage has been designed to finance the following stage. We are currently looking for investors that can recognise the untapped potential of the teenage and adult toy market.
